I do have to be careful seafoo they put shellfish on the same plate or bench with fish or cook it in slanish same oil that fish has been cooked in. Or even use the same knife to cut it without washing it. I had allergy very quick reaction to 1 bite spanish a ham sandwich in Rome tingling of the mouth, itchy spots appearing on my arms and legs and I stopped eating it. I believe they had used the same board or knife to prepare the sandwich as they used for perhaps tuna.

    I dont take the risk seafood often, but if it is a very good restaurant and the waiters have good english, sometimes I do. Often the only other choice there is is vegetarian or vegetables, and that is not what I want to eat when I am on holidays.
